Cafe Pleaide

Had a lovely dinner on the Mt Pleasant strip.. went for the prix fixe menu. Starter was a non-gargantuan bowl of mussels, which was nice, for a change... sometimes, restos just have way too many mussels on their appetizer plate to keep it an appetizer.
This was followed by tilapia dressed with a grape tomato saue, which was very nice, capped by a store-bought (possibly Dufflet) chocolate meringue cake.
A dinner all the more pleasant, considering it took us hours to get through the courses... hosts were gracious, and not trying to beat us out the door. It's obvious that it's a treasured place to eat in the neighbourhood, as it seemed that almost all the other diners were regulars in the place...
